Under "Options" --> "Connection" --> Connection Limits. qBittorrent is extremely slow to close (and can corrupt/lose its settings and torrents if shut down using task manager!) - #5662. That's a uTorrent feature and it didn't even work very well, often getting stuck only using 1 or 2 more extra upload slots not 10+ it might need to max out upload speed. Global max connections is another way to limit your network impact as chmod mentions, and you can also decrease the number of active (either seeding or downloading) torrents allowed at one time. My question is: Will the newcoming download connections be prioritised over the junk upload ones if the cap is reached?This involves: setting the upload slots to 1 (because can't do 0), setting the global upload rate limit to 1 and likewise for the alternative upload rate limit, setting the maximum active uploads in Torrent Queuing to 0 and the seed torrents until their ratio reaches to 0.
